“100: Head/Heart/Feet” follows ultrarunner preparing for Vermont 100
In 2011, ultrarunner Zak Wieluns collapsed 89 miles into the Vermont 100 Endurance Race. In 2012, he had to bow out after 30 miles with injury. “100: Head/Heart/Feet” follows Wieluns as he trains for the 2013 race and tries to balance his desire to finish a 100-mile race with maintaining some semblance of a normal life.
“100,” created by filmmakers Mike Mooney and Will Peters, screens in Denver, Colorado, on February 3rd and in Dallas, Texas, on February 8th. More information on the film can be found on the Hammer and Saw website or Facebook page.
