Trails in Motion, a trail-running film festival that tours worldwide, will kick off its fifth year in early 2017. (Trail Runner is a sponsor of the festival.)

A few highlights of the film tour include:

Thirty Hours
In 2016, 72-year-old Wally Hesseltine attempted to become the oldest person to finish the Western States 100. This is his journey.

Crown Traverse
Two Montana-based ultra runners named Mike tackle a 600-mile route through the Crown region from Missoula, Montana to Banff, Alberta.

Mt. Marathon
Elite ultrarunners Kilian Jornet and Emelie Forsburg take on Alaska’s Mt. Marathon, one of the most difficult (ands shortest) races in the country.
