It’s no secret at this point that Courtney Dauwalter is likely the nation’s top female trail and ultra runner. She contends for the overall win of many of the races she enters and has won plenty outright, notably the 2016 Javelina Jundred 100, 2016 Desert Solstice 24-Hour Run, 2017 Riverbank 24-Hour Run, 2017 Moab 240 Miler, 2018 Coldwater Rumble 52 Miler and 2019 Behind the Rocks 50 Miler.

Dauwalter runs because she loves it. Pure and simple. Well, she also loves being outside and is just about as competitive as they come. Here, watch as she battles it out at the 2018 Tahoe 200 and get a deeper look into who she is.
