Chamonix, France, may be best known to trail runners for hosting the 104-mile Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, but its splendid singletrack is worth visiting whether or not you’re racing. In this short film, runners Joshua Bond and Luke Mears explore the area’s diverse mountain trails, switchbacking in and out of forests, crossing meadows, glissading through snowy boulderfields and even pulling themselves up fixed ropes and ladders.
