The Tarawera Ultra, with 60K, 85K and 100K distances, is quickly gaining renown as a destination race worth traveling to. Held on New Zealand’s North Island, its course features mountains, geysers, fern-filled forests and impossibly blue lakes.

If you’re not flying across the Pacific anytime soon, here’s the next best thing: a video that lets you watch runners make their way around the course. The race attracts top talent each year; last year, that included first-place Dylan Bowman and second-place Jorge Maravilla. This year’s race takes place on February 6.
