The forests of northern California house some of the oldest and tallest trees in the world. This video by Salomon Running TV follows three top trail runners, Matt Flaherty, Anna Frost and Trail Runner contributing editor Rickey Gates, into a lush old-growth forest filled with redwoods as high as skyscrapers. The gorgeous footage of their run is interspersed with black-and-white scenes of old logging operations carried out in the same area.
