In May 2021, Alex Falconer began a 110-mile trek through Northern Minnesota’s Boundary Waters. Falconer was joined by Clare Gallagher, Kyle Pietari, Peyton Thomas, Jay Arrowsmith DeCoux, Matt Wardhaugh and photographer Brendan Davis. The run, which set a Fastest Known Time of  38 hours, 15 minutes and 3 seconds, was intended to raise awareness of the unique ecosystems of the Boundary Waters and the threats facing them from climate change and mining efforts.
