Ben Nephew, one of the Northeast’s best trail runners, owns the current fastest known time on the Presidential Traverse, a 19-mile run with more than 8,000 feet of gain over seven Presidential Range summits in New Hampshire.

In this video, from World of Adventure, Nephew attempts to break his own FKT of 4:34:31, grinding up climbs and flying over crazy-technical trails. He comes within a minute and a half; his 4:36:01 beats the previous third fastest time—which was set by, you guessed it, Ben Nephew.
