The Thunder Rock 100-Mile Trail Race, a point-to-point course weaving through Cherokee National Forest from Ducktown, Tennessee, will take place on May 20. First launched in 2014, the race gains over 16,000 feet of elevation and includes moss-covered forests, fog-laden creeks and waterfalls, and stunning views of mountainous eastern Tennessee.
