Bob Hayes didn’t start running until he was 61. Now approaching 90, he races 30 to 40 times a year, including 50K and 50-mile trail races.
What keeps this hardy Montanan going? That’s the subject of the upcoming film “The Hard Way,” by Jeremy Lurgio and Erik Petersen. The extended trailer, above, offers a glimpse of Hayes’s tough, persevering personality and enthusiasm for the trails.
