Dakota Jones’s twin loves of running and climbing have inspired him to pursue wilder and bolder runs up some of the world’s most impressive summits, in a faster, lighter and more efficient style. “Where does running end and climbing begin?” he asks in this video by Clif Bar, as he scrambles up Boulder’s iconic Flatirons and explores the snowy heights of Mount Rainier.

He has earned three podium finishes at the Moab Red Hot 50K and two at the North Face Endurance Challenge 50-miler, in San Francisco, all before turning 25.
