Tomorrow’s Bridger Ridge Run, outside Bozeman, Montana, is a 20-mile race that gains 6,800 feet and loses almost 10,000, on some of the most exposed, technical trails you can imagine.

“Wind Drinkers,” a short film by Eric Bendick, celebrates the race’s 30th running, which occurred in August 2014. Through mid-run interviews with longtime competitors like four-time winner Nikki Kimball as well as first-time runners in the middle of the pack, and stunning aerial footage of sweeping ridgelines and dizzying descents, the film brings this storied run to life.
