In a departure from it’s typical athlete and adventure stories, Salomon TV has turned it’s attention to the more fantastical side of trail running. This video captures two runners’ experience in the Black Forest in southwest Germany. The dark, densely-canopied forest is very real, but the running shots are overlaid with a child’s fairytale narration.
The fairytale isn’t all too far from the truth, though. The sense of wonder, adventure and joy is something all trail runners have experienced.
