Empire Runners, Sonoma County, CA
The Empire Runners Club was formed in 1975. Members are racers of all levels and abilities who take part in club-sponsored races, team competition and group training. Beginners are welcome. The group hosts three organized group trail runs per week, in Annadel State Park and other state and county parks in the region. They field teams in Northern California USATF trail-racing series and put on one or more races per month that are free to all members. They also support local cross-country high school teams, Girls on the Run and other local events.
