Too often the definition of strength is perceived as one dimensional and, as an ultra runner, Hillary Allen is far too familiar with this. Last year after a harrowing accident, she began a journey to recovery that allowed her to discover the true meaning of strength.

Shot on location in Salt Lake City in the Clubhouse SLC home to the Ladies Literary Club, the oldest women’s club in the West.

Our Mentors series examines the truths we find through exploration, and allow these stories to broaden how we define an explorer. Directed by Taylor Rees, this series is an extension of our Move Mountains campaign which is our first-ever global initiative focused on women, celebrating and sharing the stories of adventurous and courageous female explorers.
