From August 9-11, 2019, in Squamish, British Columbia, the SKY FEST Mountain-Running Festival attracted runners to a variety of clinics, group runs and social events. A unique event featured the work of four professional photographers, who were invited to shoot images from Vancouver and the Sea-to-Sky corridor and assemble slideshows.

The rules were simple: All photographers had one full week to shoot with any athletes and stay within the boundaries of the Sea to Sky—from Horseshoe Bay to Pemberton, and the photographs had to tell a story about the unique and beautiful corridor.

By the end of the week, every photographer made a short slideshow featuring the best imagery from their week set to music. The whole event was a friendly competition and that there were no winners or losers, simply a celebration of trail running and photography.
