Protein powders are great options, but since the supplement industry is not well regulated in the U.S., it is important to make sure they are not tainted with unwanted additives. When researching brands, try to choose those that are Certified for Sport or NSF certified, which are 3rd party certifications extra steps that companies take for quality assurance.
Once you have your brand determined, there are some other considerations to take including use, taste, and dietary restrictions.
