Price: $50
Sizing Accuracy: Accurate

Even if you’re wearing your fave best-fitting trail kicks, after a long run or a hard race, the first order of business is getting those sweaty, dirty shoes off and getting into something more airy and comfortable, yet with active support.

Enter the HOKA Ora Recovery Slide 2. A cushy UVA top layer immediately soothes the feet, while a rockered and stiffer midsole/outsole—with the typical HOKA wide footprint—offers needed post-run support. The open-toe design lets your feet splay and breathe, and you proudly display your well-earned black toenails.

For something so comfortable, they are surprisingly durable. If you’re still wandering around the rugged race course after you’ve finished, these will get where you need to go, without compromising traction. You can even join your friends to the finish chute because they have rebound, support and flexibility.

The fit was not loose and floppy; rather the slide stays locked on the foot (sizing was spot on for my size 8.5, high-arch, high-instep foot).

A very affordable price point, hyper lightweight and offering plush comfort, the HOKA Ora Recovery Slide 2 quickly gained a spot in my post-run gym bag.
