Incorporating extensive user feedback from the first iteration, the second-generation Norvan VT 2 offers an improved ride, better protection and superior traction.
By removing the first gen’s inner sock, Arc’teryx designers improved the shoe’s breathability for a cooler ride. A light mesh upper wraps the foot comfortably, extra lacing eyelets allow a more precise fit and a solid layer of 0.4mm TPU film coating adds bomber durability.
Of the three models in the Norvan line, the VT 2 (VT for “Vertical”) is the best solution for demanding technical terrain, with its bolstered Vibram Megagrip toe and outsole (3mm to 3.5mm lugs), and redesigned midsole featuring an injected TPU film for forefoot protection.
Trail runners and alpinists can now move at high speed and with confidence on demanding ground that might even require some scrambling.
