The standout feature of the Terrex Agravic BOA (women’s version here) is its BOA lacing system, which uses a dial to adjust and secure the laces. While our reviewers mostly liked the BOA system, the shoe earned high marks for other features as well. Grip and versatility among them, the Agravic BOA can hold its own as a trainer, racing companion or adventuring buddy and does particularly well in icy wet conditions.
Even without a dedicated rock plate, reviewers felt comfortable and protected while rock hopping and quickly descending. The lacing system dial pulls tension evenly across the foot and holds it in place.
Tester-monial: “These shoes slipped on my feet easily and provided great comfort. I will wear them for many miles to come. I didn’t imagine adidas coming so strong into the trail-running market, but they’re making great designs that hold up well for the seasoned trail and ultrarunner.” —Jonathan Loewus Deitch, Takoma Park, Maryland
