Western Mountaineering Ultralite sleeping bag

$385, 1 lb 13 oz (6′ size), www.westernmountaineering.com

Made in the USA, this fast-and-light, 20-degree-rated, finely constructed bag packs premium 850-fill goose down into its ultralight, breathable Pertex Quantum outer shell, and features a fairly slim fit, which allows for better heat retention and received high marks for comfort from one medium-framed runner. A well-placed draft collar (Velcro closure can pop open), warmth-retaining hood and heat-regulating full-length zipper round out this highly packable three-season favorite, which appears to handily back up its temperature rating.
