New for 2011, the Katadyn MyBottle uses a carbon filter to remove 99.9 percent of crypto and 99.99 percent of waterborne bacteria. The MyBottle is easy to use—just fill up the bottle, squeeze and suck clean water through the straw. A downside is its bulky size, with no strap it is not designed for use as a handheld, but the MyBottle is ideal for a backpack side pocket on a multi-day fastpacking adventure.
