Materials: 94% poly, 6% spandex

Price: $68

Best features: Seven different pockets!

Room for improvement: When all seven pockets are weighted, the shorts can slide down

The updated Mountain Climber shorts by Rabbit check two important boxes: plenty of snack-stashing capacity, and a wide, comfy waistband.

A combination of waistband pockets, back zippered pocket and two side pockets made it easy to keep my snacks and trash separate. The shorts’ fabric is breezy and light, and the fit felt flattering and sporty. The generous waistband doesn’t pinch, and a 2.5 inch inseam allows for great mountain-climbing range of motion with a good amount of coverage.

The fabric felt buttery-soft and breathable, perfect for light-weight summer adventures or races that require agility and and a couple of gels.
