Oiselle is a woman-owned Seattle-based brand that makes performance running apparel for women. The days are getting shorter, but our runs certainly aren’t. When it’s time to hit the streets or trail for dawn patrol, Oiselle’s Firecracker kit will make it easy to be seen.
The Firecracker 3/4 tights are a good length for transition seasons and have a comfy high waistband. The reflective pattern is a subtle floral that you can only see when light hits it directly, so you can jog these into the coffee shop without blinding your running partners. The side pockets can hold a phone or slim wallet, which is a huge bonus. The 3/4 length worked well for a chilly morning run that didn’t quite merit full length, insulated tights. The crops are a stylish, low-key alternative to a reflective vest or flashing lights. On the trail, they didn’t sag or ride up thanks to a generous waistband.
The Firecracker Arm Warmers are a great accessory for runs that start cold and warm up quickly. They easily peel off and can be stuffed in a pocket or running vest. The thumbholes provide good hand coverage, though the tops were a little baggy and slid down my arms.
The Firecracker Earband tops off the kit for head-to-toe reflectivity and shoulder season warmth.
