Outer Material: 86% Polyester, 14% Spandex.
Inner Brief: 92% Polyester, 8% Spandex.

The Comet Skirt from La Sportiva delivers a lightweight, breathable and quick-drying design for the skirt-loving trail runners amongst us. Offered in a variety of bright, splashy colors typical of La Sportiva apparel, the skirt guarantees you will be seen coming down the trail.

The soft waistline construction allows for freedom of movement and provides a comfortable ride from beginning to end on runs of any distance. There’s also no need to worry about the skirt riding up, as an elastic drawstring allows you to cinch it snug to your hips.

While there is a zipper pocket on the back of the skirt, don’t expect to fit more than a couple of gels in there, and definitely don’t expect to get in a phone.

The Comet also features lightweight, built-in mesh shorts that protect from chafing and provide ample coverage, giving you peace of mind when sitting or bending over. This is particularly comforting as the Comet has a shorter length than some other running skirts. It’s also worth noting that the skirt is designed with a slim fit.

Overall, this is a fantastic, comfortable short layer to spice up your trail-running wardrobe without sacrificing any functionality.
