Norvan SL Insulated Hoody

Price: $399
Weight: 8.6 oz. (women’s model shown. Men’s is 9.5 oz.)
Tech: GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ with Coreloft™ Compact 40 insulation

Arc’teryx’s lightest GORE-TEX insulated jacket ever, the Norvan SL Insulated Hoody (SL for “Super Light”) offers waterproof protection and cozy warmth for trail running in cold and wet conditions.

Featuring a combination of GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ technology and a layer of highly efficient Coreloft™ Compact 40 insulation, the athletic-fitting jacket went through numerous refinements leading to its final advanced construction and ultimate effectiveness in winter conditions.

Understanding that trail running is a high-output activity, the designers bodymapped the insulation to provide warmth in the core and breathability in critical areas, removing the insulation from under the arms, bottom of the back and bottom of the arms.

A fitted, insulated hood with a brim can be tucked away and secured with a snap. The Dope Permeair™ 20 liner allows excess heat to escape while managing moisture, and the WaterTight™ front zipper seals out the elements. Other details include 3M Black reflective trim, elasticated cuffs and pocket stow bag.
