To learn about foreign cultures, discover new trails and explore some of the world’s most stunning landscapes through running… this has always been the main excuse of the Aire Libre team to drop everything for a while and set out on a new adventure. Aire Libre is a Mexico City-based running collective and creative agency that aims to inspire people from the city to be more active, healthy and spiritually connected. Aire Libre produces inspirational content and short documentaries that highlight the value of ancestral knowledge, physical activity and spirituality.

For Aire Libre’s last running adventure, they embarked on a colorful and surreal running expedition, deep into one of South America’s roughest, most authentic and most intriguing destinations: Bolivia—a nation of incredible natural beauty that offers a very full and complex cultural experience. The constant change in altitude generated an amazing catalogue of landscapes and the preservation of its indigenous cultures was a treat for Aire Libre, constantly looking to find meaning and knowledge in the voices of the ancestors.
