Jason Schlarb and Jeremy Wolf were running buddies in college. Now top ultrarunners, the two still get together for frequent trail adventures, which they document in film through their production company, Schlarb-Wolf Productions. Last year, they traveled to Patagonia, coming away with epic footage and a great story (with tons of photos) for Trail Runner.

Their latest trip took them to New Zealand’s South Island, a dream-come-true land of mountains, forests, beaches and fjords. Schlarb and Wolf tooled around the island in an RV, ran a bunch of rad trails and pondered the meaning of “bromance.”

This video is a cut from the resulting film, “Kiwi Tracks”; the full 27-minute movie can be rented from Vimeo On Demand, here.
