Rob Goyen was not born a trail runner. In fact, he used to weigh 347 pounds. Eight years ago, he discovered running as a way to lose weight, and fell in love with the sport so much that he decided to become a full-time race director. His organization, Trail Racing Over Texas, puts on (among other races) the Brazos Bend 50, where Caroline Boller recently set a new American 50-mile trail record.

This is his story.

The full-length film will be made available online at midnight on Saturday.
