With a built-in, water-resistant zip closure, ankle gaiter and an eVent bootie, these black beauties are made to withstand mud, rocks, snow and slush. The contoured heel cup and pull-tab inner lacing system hold your feet securely. The fit and grippy tread gave testers the confidence to tackle the sloppiest trail conditions.

Although on the heavy side, the shoe felt fairly nimble and responsive. The stiff midsole offered good stability on technical terrain, and, though it adds weight, the gaiter kept out moisture and gravel. The Razors shine as winter and all-around mountain trail runners for those with medium-width feet.
