At sub-two pounds, this 900-fill-goose-down bag will warm you through three seasons, and features weight-shaving, downproof Pertex Quantum fabric, one of the lightest shell fabrics available. The innovative Flow-Gate Construction features a vertical-baffle system intended to reduce cold spots by keeping the down from shifting—it appears to work as it kept us warm down near its 15-degree rating. Testers praised the head-enveloping hood, draft tube with snap closure, roomy shoulder and hip girth and two-way, full-length zipper. One downside is that the zipper can catch on the draft tube, but practice makes it less of an issue.
