Salomon S-Lab Sense Shoes

And run in the special shoe that what won Kilian Jornet the 2011 Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run and Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc.

In "honor" of Kilian Jornet's off-course forays in the 2011 Western States (adding six miles to his day), Salomon is producing just 106 pairs (each uniquely numbered) of its S-Lab Sense, a 6.9-ounce trail shoe that is adept on any terrain, from 5K to 100 miles.

After finishing third at Western in 2010, Kilian and the Salomon R&D team set to work designing a state-of-the-art trail-racing shoe, and the S-Lab Sense is the result. With a four-millimeter heel-to-toe drop, the S-Lab Sense offers great trail feel, protection and breathability. The unique insole features Jornet's hand-written course notes from his 2011 race.
